Friends of Genghis is an indie rock trio from Kingston, Ontario. Their heaviest influences of Hendrix and Red Hot Chili Peppers blend for a mix of heavy lead lines with colourful melodic bass. The band met at Queen's University in 2011, and formed Friends of Genghis in September of 2012. They have since become the house band of the campus pub and are releasing their first EP.
